I got my MacBook Pro about 2 months ago, and within the first week I had a scratch in the aluminum. It wasn't terrible, but I didn't want it to happen again. So I looked online at different cases, and decided to go with a reasonably inexpensive model because I wasn't really sure exactly what I wanted.It turns out, this case is almost exactly what I wanted. Now I can set my keys down on my MacBook without worrying about scratches. I can slip it in my backpack knowing it has an extra layer of protection. It was really easy to put on, it just snaps into place, the color is great (I picked green and I've gotten a number of comments on it), it doesn't block access to any of the ports or buttons, and I can still open the screen up all the way.Overall this case is great, it just makes my MacBook even better. The grips on the bottom are very good, but I wish they put little rubber grips on the extendable feet, too. I don't really use the feet much, and they grip fine when extended, but when they are closed the back half of my Mac is a little more slippery that I would like.I would recommend this case, and in fact I have recommended it, to anyone who has a MacBook that they want to keep a little bit safer. It is a great price, the cases in the store are twice as expensive and not any better.
