Let me tell you bout a boy named... we'll call him "Hellcat" for this review. Hellcat received a kindle fire with this case for Christmas. Hellcat is rough on things, like imagine a happy yet anarchist tinyt-rex named Hellcat that hates all things that aren't broken, stomped upon or destroyed. Since birth, 3 long years ago, he's tried to demolish all he comes in contact with no matter the protest from parents or caregivers... so you can see how we were skeptical of this case's ability to protect it from Hellcat. It's been 51 days and I've seen this kindle bounce. I've seen it plop. I've seen it dropped, thrown, stood on ... he even had it between his teeth by the handle one day and NOT ONE SINGLE SCRATCH OR CRACK. NOT ONE!! It's easy FOR ADULTS to get the kindle in and out to clean and even Hellcat hasn't been able to remove it yet. It's great to set up to watch movies/shows, the handles are perfect for carrying (and hurling like horseshoe but maybe that's just Hellcat.) HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ALL AGES. I'm seriously considering getting one myself. They're super tough. Hellcat is real and only summed up here. He's better than any test lab. He's tested it in ways never thought possible before.
