I ordered both the Amazon brand carrying case and this one. This is so far superior to the Amazon case and the others on here I can't believe it. Fantastic case.I own about 10 name brand, $20+ cases I get at Best Buy for my photography supplies and this far exceeds their quality and for under $10. Nothing cheap about it. Quality all around. My Garmin fits inside like it was made for it. So glad to have my GPS protected and away from dust and dirt and spilled soft drinks! I feel so much better about leaving it in the car, safely tucked under the front seat rather than on the dash or under something on the seat. I'm ordering a half dozen more for other things I want to protect. I love that it has a strap on the case I can use to secure it to a hook or my backpack, or while on my boat. This would make the perfect tackle box for fishing when you only want a handful of items to tuck in your vest, or for small tools etc. Love it love it love it! I'm ordering additional cases for First Aid, Diabetes supplies, cooking supplies while camping and for my socket sets. So many possibilities!Pros: Sturdy, heavy-duty, dual zipper that glides smoothly all around.Two elastic bands that hold your GPS unit securely in place.Mesh pocket is heavy mesh that won't break under stress.Inner seams of case are covered in fabric, no fraying, no exposed threadsCase is very crush resistant. I'm not saying you can stand on it, but it's going to survive anything an airline monkey can throw at it.I would say it is water resistant. I wouldn't worry about anything inside getting wet if it were in a backpack, left on a table outside during a rain etc. I wouldn't say water-proof, but this case is going to protect your stuff from pretty much whatever your forgetfulness might do to it.NO CONS:I just can't see anything wrong with this case. I think I lucked out and picked the perfect case for my needs. Highly reccomend it.
